Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father’s Day Gift Guide

We know it happens every year, but if you are like me, Father’s Day sneaks up on us every year. If you are struggling with what to get Dad, your spouse, or other important father figure in your life I am here to help. Us guys are notoriously hard to buy for, so hopefully some of these suggestions can help get you on the right track.

  1. Leather Dopp Kit

2020 was not the year of travel, but as you look to later this year, every guy needs a good quality Dopp kit for travelling. This handmade leather dopp kit is a great choice for dad! It can be customized with his monogram, name, or initials. The bag includes a waterproof lining and has three different sections.

2. Oxford and Kin Glasses

This year, let’s ditch the stereotypical gift of a tie for dad and get him a different accessory. As summer is approaching quickly, it’s something that dad can use almost every day. My personal favourites are the Nelson, designed in Vancouver by local brand Oxford and Kin. The Nelson is Oxford and Kin’s refined take on the traditional aviator style. What’s great about Oxford and Kin is that every pair of glasses sold equals a full eye exam and a pair of glasses for someone in need!

3. BN3TH Underwear

Let’s face it, guys aren’t quick to replace their underwear. Did you know that you should be replacing your underwear every 6-12 months? Maybe make it an annual Father’s Day tradition to help refresh your husband’s underwear drawer.

“BN3TH was the first to create underwear with a three-dimensional pouch, and their patented MyPakage Pouch Technology™ remains the key to a uniquely supportive fit. They engineer underwear and base layers that keep you comfortable for full days on the mountain, on the water, in the gym or in the office.”

4. MD Cosmetic

It’s no secret that over the past 6 months I’ve been getting some treatments done on my face. From some botox, to micro-needling, to facials, and more, they’ve got just what dad (or you) may need to help you feel the best you can!

5. Earl Made Styling Pomade

Our signature handcrafted Styling Pomade with a blend of four exceptionally nourishing oils. Argan, jojoba, castor, and grapeseed oil nourish your scalp without feeling greasy. Our waxes give you a controllable hold, and bentonite and kaolin clays cut down the shine for a soft matte finish. The water-based formula ensures an effortless wash-out when you’re finished with your style.

6. Truly

Does the man in your life have a skin care routine? My guess is probably not. Start off small with a great daily cleanser. One of my favourite Truly products is their Facial Cleanser. I use it every day as part of my skin care routine. It is gentle on all skin types and suitable for daily use.

7. DUER Performance Denim

They have 5x the stretch of traditional denim and pants without compromising on style. They are the perfect denim to take on whatever your day throws at you.

8. Chemical Guys Snow Foam Cannon

The Foam Blaster 6 adds variable foam action to paintwork during your car wash without an expensive pressure washer- simply attach to your garden hose, turn the dial, and shoot cleansing foam!

9. Nespresso Vertuo Machine

Nespresso Vertuo machine and I absolutely LOVE it. The coffee it makes is some of the best at home coffee I’ve ever had – and definitely helps the wallet by having coffee at home on demand!

10. Wireless Phone/Watch Charger

This is the exact wireless charger I have on my nightstand. Help get Dad his charging organized. It allows for simultaneous Charging: With both a dedicated Apple Watch stand and wireless charging pad, you can power up your Apple Watch and charge your phone, AirPods, or other Qi-enabled device at the same time.
